Cold reflection, butterflies
I remember why I hardly fight
Would it seem that this isn't the change for me?
Now I see I might be at home
Take me back to a time when I
Had the reasons to be on this line
Would it seem now I can't see a chance for me?
All I feel is that I am at home
Take us to a promised place
Tell me you can see my face
I'll believe you
Everytime you say my name
Speak it to the rising sun
Echoing on
Take me to a bright new land
Somewhere I can feel the sand
Under my feet
Everytime you say my name
Speak it to the rising sun
Echoing on
If you give me some space and air
There might be things you don't want to hear
Would it seem that we're drifting
Unravelling
Can't you see I am not at home
Take us to a promised place
Tell me you can see my face
I'll believe you
Everytime you say my name
Speak it to the rising sun
Echoing on
Take me to a bright new land
Somewhere I can feel the sand
Under my feet
Everytime you say my name
Speak it to the rising sun
Echoing on
It takes you through what feels like a journey of life. Happy, upbeat moments, reflection and melancholy, nostalgia, satisfaction, hope. This album reminds me of how far I've come and how it's worth it to keep going for more. Slushee
This album has helped me through some absolute dumpster fire of days. Calmed me down, reset my thinking and helped me power through. Highly recommended. rtificial
God, what a great chiptunes album. Hack the Mainframe has a great combination of catchiness with the undernote of sadness. "Infinity" is great at threading the needle chiptunes does at it's best; creating music that is somehow catchy, has a sense of emotional tone, and has a sense of progression at the same time, while still working in "beeps'n'boops."
