God, what a great chiptunes album. Hack the Mainframe has a great combination of catchiness with the undernote of sadness. "Infinity" is great at threading the needle chiptunes does at it's best; creating music that is somehow catchy, has a sense of emotional tone, and has a sense of progression at the same time, while still working in "beeps'n'boops." It takes you through what feels like a journey of life. Happy, upbeat moments, reflection and melancholy, nostalgia, satisfaction, hope. This album reminds me of how far I've come and how it's worth it to keep going for more. Slushee
